Exalge by Matthew Ryals with effe effe, is a fully improvised performance for modular synthesizer and viola, recorded live at Exalge in Milan, Italy (2023). I designed the full vinyl package which features a transparent milky-clear vinyl, printed on reverse board.

The Artwork

The artwork is inspired by the spirit of improvisation – emotional, spontaneous, and free – and by the concentric patterns found on vinyl itself.
